Peer Review Process

GJMMS uses editorial screening and independent peer review to evaluate scholarly quality, originality, and relevance.

Editorial Standards

The review process is designed to be fair, confidential, evidence-based, and focused on improving the quality of published research.

How Manuscripts Are Evaluated

Submitted manuscripts first undergo an editorial assessment for scope, completeness, originality, ethical compliance, and adherence to journal policies. Papers that pass this screening are sent to qualified reviewers with relevant disciplinary or interdisciplinary expertise.

Reviewers are asked to evaluate the contribution, methodological or analytical soundness, literature engagement, clarity, and reliability of the conclusions. Editorial decisions may include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, resubmission after substantial revision, or rejection.

  • Reviews are treated as confidential editorial communications.
  • Authors are expected to respond to reviewer comments point by point when submitting revisions.
  • Final publication decisions rest with the editor after considering reviewer recommendations and the revised manuscript.

The journal values constructive review. Even when a manuscript is not accepted, reviewer feedback should help authors strengthen the work for future development.
